"Believing Takes Practice"

“Your brain stores all the sensory impressions it receives, but your conscious mind doesn’t have a key to the storehouse.  All I want you to do is to open yourself up to me so that I can open the door to your mind’s storehouse”
(L'Engle, Madeleine; A Wind in the Door, pg 96)

The way God fashioned our human minds and bodies is fascinating.  But what is even more fascinating is how much more than this earthly realm we have access to if we open ourselves up to Holy Spirit.
Ever since man was separated from God in the garden, his body and mind have been conditioned to limited access to the heavenly realms.  However, when Jesus paid the price for all mankind, He restored us all to that original free, unlimited access to Father and all of Heaven.  Yet, we still need to learn to condition our hearts and minds to continually open ourselves to God in order for us to have that complete access to the storehouses of heaven.  We were created to freely access all Heaven’s resources and to operate them in the earthly realms.  This is why we are called to have dominion over the land and animals (Genesis 1:28).  This is also why Jesus tells us to pray His will on earth as it is in Heaven.
This is our mission.

Madeliene L'Engle is one of my favorite authors of all time.
In her story "A Wind in the Door," she takes you on a powerful, life-changing journey through her characters and teaches you how to access the Heavenly realm to change circumstances here on earth.

I think Heaven is beautiful.
Everything about it is Mystery - the creatures, God, everything.
I absolutely LOVE exploring Heaven through childlike books like Madeleine's.
One of my and Preston's favorite things to do is to go treasure hunt Used Bookstores and collect as many Madeleine L'Engle books as we can.  Then we give them away to friends and people that we know will be blessed through them.

Madeleine L'Engle is brilliant.
I recommend everyone pick up one of her books and go explore the universe and all the mysteries God has for you!
